May 19 Update

Students made art from nature, under the direction of local artist Nan Cooper. Students found items along the shore of Lake Pend Oreille, which were then e-purposed to make art. Students spent the day on the Pend Oreille Trail near Sandpoint. And the weather cooperated too!

May 11 Update

In the morning session Art Track students worked with artist Alison Barrows-Young in an exercise in textile arts. They worked on creating in-the-round items using handmade textile fibers. A lot of work, but engaging.

In the afternoon they worked with artist Kally Thurman on the handmade books and covers that they were creating, which they started during a previous track day. Plus a few random images of students and their funny drawings.
